It’s #mindfulness #Monday! Since the start of 2019, I’ve spent a lot of time with my two feet and more importantly, my mind, in the trails. After our devastating loss of identical twin boys at almost 20 weeks, I knew I needed an outlet for the deep depression I sunk into. I decided to start trail running to see if connecting with nature would shed some light (literally) onto my heart and my soul.

Studies have shown that they are numerous mental health benefits to being outdoor and spending some time with Mother Nature!

This week’s mindfulness Monday covers #meditation and offers two phone applications that I’ve found are wonderful for anyone contemplating starting a meditation practice or those that may have a certain impression of what meditation is.
